This activity is designed for plastic surgeons, trainees, nurses, and other allied health professionals.


After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review data on innovative pre-pectoral breast reconstruction techniques and outcomes
  • Employ strategies to achieve optimal outcomes and minimize complications in pre-pectoral breast reconstruction beginning with patient selection
  • Explore fat grafting techniques and concepts to help improve breast reconstruction patient outcomes

• Examine the benefit of acellular dermal matrices in pre-pectoral breast reconstruction and its role in capsular contracture
